3" Assault Cummerbund Sizing Guide
When choosing the size of your 3" Assault Cummerbund (3AC) always factor in how you will be utilizing it, including any accessories. Are you running Side Armor? Plan to use one of our 3AC Buckle Kits? Maybe you're running Comms behind your cummerbund using the Wingthing™ or Wingman™ V2. All of these situations will play a part in finding the correct size for the 3AC.

How to Measure
- Use a soft tape measure or string.
- Measure your torso just below the chest (around your ribcage).
- Then enter the measurement in the form below or consult the table.

Fit Adjustment Guidelines
- Add 2" if using 3AC Side Soft Armor
- Size up if using 3AC Side Plate Pockets – 6x6
- Subtract 1.5" if using Cobra or Tubes Buckle Kit
- Size up if between sizes and using side armor or plate pockets
- Size down if between sizes and only using the cummerbund
The 3AC Cummerbund’s front and rear Velcro mounting sections allow for overlap or slight outward mounting to help fine-tune the fit.
Example Sizing Scenarios
- Measured 40” with only the cummerbund: Size Down → Medium
- Measured 40” with side plate pockets (6x6): Size Up → Large
- Measured 40” with side soft armor: Add 2” = 42” → Large
- Measured 38” with side soft armor: Add 2” = 40” → Large
